Development Officer for Lincolnshire Community Healthcare Chaplaincy
14 hours per week
£35,000 pro-rata

Could you be the person to help realise the ambition of placing a Christian chaplain in every GP practice throughout greater Lincolnshire? Could you help develop and embed our links with the NHS, churches and community in order that many more patients can access the listening and guidance service that our volunteer chaplains offer?

This new role is to ensure that the role of chaplaincy in GP surgeries and its place within the NHS and charitable sector is recognised, promoted, funded and developed in order to sustain and grow the service so that more patients can access compassionate pastoral and spiritual care.

Are you someone able to work as part of a team with good networking skills and enthusiasm and determination to see the service grow and develop?

This job is being offered as a fixed term contract for an initial period of one year although our ambition is to secure funding for the post to continue beyond the first year.
